Worcester, Mass. – The Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) has announced its Academic Honor Roll. Assumption had four players, Sarah Reilly, Callie Dwyer, Meghan Cushing and Miranda Page, earn this prestigious honor. To be eligible for this honor, student-athletes must be a junior, senior, or graduate student and have earned a cumulative academic GPA of 3.50 or greater. The Hounds were also honored by the IWLCA as an "Academic Honor Squad", meaning the team must have posted a 3.0 or higher GPA.
Reilly had a career year as she earned All-Region First Team Honors from the IWLCA and was named NE10 First-Team All-Conference. She holds the school records for most points in a career, 273, most assist in a career,82, as well as the record for most goals in a season, 73. Reilly recently graduated with a degree in marketing and finished her college career with a 3.77 GPA.
Dwyer played in all 19 games for the Hounds during the year. She totaled 33 points on 23 goals and 10 assists. Dwyer scored seven points in a game against St. Michael's on five goals and seven assists. Dwyer owns a 3.95 GPA while majoring in elementary education and mathematics.
Cushing appeared in all 19 games during the season for Assumption. She earned Second-Team All-Region selection from the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association. Cushing totaled 20 points on 12 goals and 8 assists, while also picking up 41 ground balls. Cushing graduated in May with a degree in Special Education with a 3.87 GPA.
Page played in all 19 games for the Hounds, starting 15. She caused six turnovers on the season as well as picked up ten ground balls. Page recently graduated with a degree in chemistry and owned a 3.74 GPA.
