    Worcester, Mass. (July 7) -- The Assumption College swimming and diving team has been distinguished as one of just four teams in the Northeast-10 Conference to earn the Scholar All-America designation, as announced by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA).

    Mansfield, Mass. (April 9) -- Freshmen Carylyn Waite (Tampa, Fla. / Tampa Prep) and Niamh Morgan (Bettystown, Ireland / Sacred Heart School) of the Assumption College swimming and diving team were awarded major post-season honors by the Northeast-10 Conference on Thursday. Waite was named NE-10 Swimmer of the Year for her impressive performance this season while Morgan was awarded NE-10 Rookie of the Year for her own stellar accomplishments.

(April 7) -- Led by a pair of Northeast-10 Conference Sport Excellence Award winners, five Assumption College student-athletes have also earned Academic All-Conference honors from the 2014-2015 winter season. The awards were voted on by a panel of administrators from the league’s 15 member institutions.
  • Swimming Earns DII Team Scholar All-American Award

(February 24) – The Assumption College women’s swimming and diving team has been honored by the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) with the NCAA Division II Team Scholar All-American Award. The Hounds, who posted an overall team grade point average of 3.12, earn the award for the 13th straight semester and are one of just four Northeast-10 Conference teams to be recognized with the honor.

(February 10) -- Freshman Niamh Morgan (Bettystown, Ireland/ Sacred Heart School) of the Assumption College women's swimming and diving team has been named Northeast-10 Conference Swimmer and Rookie of the Week following her impressive performance at the 2015 NE-10 Championships. The honor marks her second NE-10 Rookie of the Week award. The 400 freestyle relay team was also named NE-10 Relay Team of the Week for its performance this past weekend.

Junior Victoria Weber (Augusta, Maine / Cony) broke two individual pool records while also helping the 200 yard medley relay squad break another. The competition marked the final home meet of the 2014-15 season.

Two standouts on the day include junior Victoria Weber (Augusta, Maine / Cony), who claimed three individual titles and helped two relay squads to victory, as well as sophomore Rachel Gagnon (Tolland, Conn. / Tolland), who broke the Assumption 50 yard backstroke record.

    Worcester, Mass. (October 18) -- The Assumption College swimming team defeated Division I Sacred Heart University at home on Saturday by a score of 164-89. The win marks the Hounds' seventh-straight victory at Plourde Pool. Assumption has not lost at home since November 2011.
