WORCESTER, Mass. – Assumption Baseball Head Coach Mike Rocco has assumed the title of the President of the New England Intercollegiate Baseball Association (NEIBA) after serving as the vice president during the 2018-19 season.
"I am extremely honored to begin my two-year stint as President of the NEIBA," said Rocco. "There have been a lot of great Presidents prior to me that have done a fantastic job of promoting college baseball in New England and hopefully I can continue to do that in my time in this position. Organizations like the NEIBA is what makes baseball so great, coaches from all three divisions in New England coming together to help promote the sport they love so much."
The NEIBA is made up of collegiate baseball coaches from throughout New England in all three Divisions. It seeks to help and promote college baseball in New England, conducting weekly polls and year-end awards for players and coaches in each division.
