Ashley Leverone is in her first year as an assistant athletic trainer at Assumption College in the 2016-17 season.
Leverone joins the sports medicine staff at Assumption after serving two years as the intern assistant athletic trainer at NCAA Division I Yale University. She was the primary athletic trainer for the Bulldogs men's soccer team, along with fall baseball, gymnastics, and women’s rowing.
As an undergraduate student, she completed a semester abroad at Division I Wyoming University during her senior year, assisting the athletic staff with coverage of the football team. Leverone also gained experience at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania, where she worked with the athletic training staff during preseason football.
Leverone graduated with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in athletic training/sports medicine from Quinnipiac University in May 2014. She was inducted into the Alpha Eta Honor Society in February of 2014 and graduated with Cum Laude honors. While completing her undergraduate degree, she worked with Quinnipiac Athletics (men's lacrosse, women's rugby, and men's basketball), East Haven High School Athletics, and in the Quinnipiac Rehab Room.
Leverone is a licensed Athletic Trainer in the State of Massachusetts and is a certified member of the National Athletic Trainers' Association Board of Certification (ATC).
