Greyhounds Finish Fourth at Keene State Invitational
Keene, N.H. (September 3) -- Led by a ninth-place finish by freshman Nicole Massoud, the Assumption College women's cross country team finished fourth among seven teams at the season-opening Keene State Invitational on Saturday morning.
Massoud crossed in a time of 12:59 over the two-mile course to lead the team in her first collegiate race. Junior Catherine Griffin finished in 42nd place in a time of 13:55, followed by Marisa Anderson in 49th in 14:10. Junior Christine Girard placed 52nd in 14:21, while sophomore Chelsie Seguin closed out the scoring with a 55th-place finish in a time of 14:43.
The Greyhounds return to action on Saturday, September 10th as the team travels to Manchester, N.H. for the Shacklette Invitational. The race is held on the campus of Saint Anselm College.
