Rindge, N.H. (September 9) -- The Assumption College women's soccer team dropped a 3-1 contest to Franklin Pierce University at Sodexo Field in Rindge on Sunday.
The Greyhounds dipped to 0-2 and 0-1 in league play, while the Ravens won their third straight contest to improve to 3-0 overall and 2-0 in the Northeast-10.

The Greyhounds trailed 2-0 at the half. Assumption, however, didn't fold and came out firing in the second half. The Greyhounds outshot the Ravens, 6-1, in the opening 15 minutes of the frame and the hard work paid off in the 57th minute as Andrea Bates (Holden, Mass./Wachusett) deflected in a Caroline Arnold (Foxboro, Mass./Bishop Feehan) shot to cut the deficit in half.
The Greyhounds will return to action on Monday, Sept. 10 as the team travels to Queens, N.Y. to take on the Knights of Queens College. The match will begin at 4:00 p.m.
