WORCESTER, Mass. --- Assumption College women’s rowing advanced to its first novice four Grand Final Saturday and Sunday claimed the year-long New England Collegiate Rowing League varsity point trophy to highlight New England Rowing championship action this weekend at Lake Quinsigamond.
The varsity four is comprised of sophomore ALI NASSIMOS (Madison, CT/Daniel Hand) as the cox while the oarsmen are sophomore BRITTANY OUELLETTE (Walpole, MA/Walpole), freshman LISA GAGNE (Avon, CT/Avon), senior AMY CHIASSON (Tewksbury, MA/Tewksbury) and junior MARISSA CERRETANI (Nahant, MA/Pingree School).

HOOKSETT, NH --- The Assumption College womens varsity four outrowed Brandeis University here Sunday. The Greyhounds rowed the 2,000-meters in 7:23.46 while Brandeis finished at 7:50.17. The Greyhounds womens novice four, second with a 7:25.17 time, finished behind Endicott (7:05.72). They outrowed both Brandeis (7:46.36) and LaSell (8:06.73).

WORCESTER, Mass. --- The Assumption College womens novice four won its second straight regatta of the spring season outrowing LaSell, Roger Williams and Brandeis Sunday at Lake Quinsigamond. Coxed by sophomore ALI NASSIMOS (Madison, CT/Daniel Hand), the boat included sophomore KARA BROTHERS (Worcester, MA/Saint Peter-Marian) at No. 1, sophomore MEREDITH DEACON (Weymouth, MA/Weymouth) at No. 2, freshman LAUREN ARMSTRONG (Norfolk, MA/Montrose School) at No. 3 and junior MARIA CERCE (Boston, MA/Quabbin Regional) at No. 4.

WORCESTER, Mass. --- The Assumption College women’s novice four won its first regatta of the spring season outrowng Roger Williams and Endicott. The Greyhounds were 50 seconds better with time of 9:53 over the 2,000-meter course than Roger Williams (10:43) and Endicott (10:48).
