McNeil Named to All-Rookie Team

Easton, Mass. (May 5) -- Assumption College freshman Amy McNeil (Orange, Conn./Amity) has been named to the women's lacrosse All-Rookie team, as voted on by coaches and announced by the league.

McNeil had a historic season for the Greyhounds, scoring 56 goals to rank her second in single season goal scoring history, and finished with 60 points, ranking her fourth in school history.

McNeil also tied a school record with eight goals in a single game on April 4 against Southern Conn. State University, and scored seven goals against Saint Anselm College on March 31. Her nine points against the Owls ranked her third in school history.

The freshman standout scored in every game this season, and scored three or more goals in 11 games.
