Marrone Named to 2011 IWLCA Academic Honor Roll

Worcester, Mass. (September 22) -- Assumption women's lacrosse player Jamie Marrone has been named to the Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Academic Honor Roll for the 2011 season. In total, 49 student-athletes from 22 different Division II schools were honored.

Marrone, a four-year standout for the Greyhounds, served as one of the team captains in 2011 and graduated from Assumption with a degree in psychology and biology. In addition, she is tied for the school record in total games played with 57 career appearances.
