Morgan O’Donnell Named to All-WACBA First Team

WORCESTER, Mass. – After a breakthrough junior campaign, Assumption forward Morgan O'Donnell (Easton, Mass. / Ursuline Academy) has been named to the Worcester Area College Basketball Association (WACBA) First Team, as announced by the organization on Wednesday.

O'Donnell led the team in scoring this season, averaging 14.2 points per game while shooting 51.2 percent from the field and playing 28.4 minutes per game. She was third in the NE10 in free throws made (118) and field-goal percentage shooting 51.2 percent. O'Donnell also ranked in the top 15 of the NE10 in blocks (27) and rebounds per game (7.8). She was named WACBA Player of the Week and averaged 17.8 points per game over the final ten contests of the season.

Lauren Manis of Holy Cross was honored as the WACBA Player of the Year, while Mikaela Mitchell of Fitchburg State was selected as Rookie of the Year. Becker's David Bostick earned Coach of the Year honors.
