A former standout at Saint Michael's College (Colchester, VT) and an assistant coach at two Division I institutions (Columbia, 1990-96 and Hartford, 1996-99) Sue Cahill is in her 10th year on Kerry Phayre's staff.

Cahill's duties include coordinating and implementing all aspects of recruiting student-athletes, pre- and post-season workouts, in-season and out-of-season weightlifting programs, scouting of opponents and practice preparation. She is also the assistant director of the summer basketball camp---one of the more popular camps in the region.

In her career at the College the team has qualified for eight conference playoffs with three straight advances to the Final Four (2001-04), had three 20-win seasons and two N.C.A.A. regional appearances. She has recruited one conference freshman of the year, one player of the year and four all-conference players including four 1,000-point scorers.

Prior to coming to the College she assisted at two Division I programs at the University of Hartford and Columbia University.

She played collegiately for Coach Sue Duprat at Saint Michael's College. She served as team captain, while leading the Purple Knights to their first E.C.A.C. tournament appearance and was named a Northeast-10 honorable mention all-star in 1990. She received her Bachelors in Business Administration.
