Men's Tennis Defeats Saint Anselm College by 6-3 Final

Worcester, Mass. (April 14) -- The Assumption College men's tennis team defeated Saint Anselm College, 6-3, at the Assumption College tennis courts on Saturday afternoon.

The Greyhounds swept four through six singles, as Pat Murray (Cumberland, R.I./Cumberland) defeated William Condon with a 4-6, 6-0 (12-10) final, and senior Nathan Lafond (Goffstown, N.H./Goffstown) picked up a 6-1, 6-2 victory. Jerry Reilly (Greenville, R.I./LaSalle Academy)  also picked up a 6-3, 6-1 victory over Matthew Greeke.

The Greyhounds improve to 4-12 on the season and will return to action on Monday, April 16 for their season finale against Salve Regina. The match will begin at 3:30 p.m. at Salve Regina.
