Wrenn Named Northeast-10 Goalkeeper of the Week

Easton, Mass. (September 19) -- Assumption College sophomore goalie Matt Wrenn (Windham, N.H./Tilton School) has been honored as the Northeast-10 Conference Goalkeeper of the Week for his play during two Hound victories last week.

Wrenn posted two shutouts in two victories this week for the Greyhounds. He started off the week with three saves in a 4-0 shutout victory against Saint Rose, and then regis­tered four saves in a 1-0 victory over UMass Lowell.

The Hounds sit at 2-1 on the season and will hit the field next on September 21 as the team heads to Le Moyne to take on the Dolphins. The match is scheduled to start at 4:00 p.m.
