Craig, Smith Earn NE-10 All-Rookie Honors

Easton, Mass. -- Assumption College freshmen Kerry Craig (Shoreham, N.Y./Shoreham-Wading River) and Garrett Smith (East Syracuse, N.Y./East Syracuse-Minoa) have been named to the 2012 Northeast-10 Conference Men's Lacrosse All-Rookie Team, as voted by the league's head coaches.

Craig, one of the team's top defenders this year, started 13 of the 14 games he appeared in. He finished with one assist, 19 ground balls and 16 caused turnovers, ranking 18th in the league.

Smith, the team's top scorer, started 13 of the 14 games he appeared in as well. He finished the season with 32 points on 28 goals and four assists. Smith ranked seventh in the league in goals, 17th in points and was ninth in the Northeast-10 in shots on goal with 52.
