Noyes Named to NEILA Preseason All-New England Team

Worcester, Mass. -- Assumption College men's lacrosse senior midfielder Chris Noyes (Tewksbury, Mass./Central Catholic) has been named to the New England Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (NEILA) Preseason All-New England Team, as voted by the region's head coaches.

Noyes appeared in all 16 games for the Hounds, including starting 13, as the Hounds qualified for the Northeast-10 Tournament for the first time. Noyes finished with seven points on one goal and six assists, along with a team-high 80 groundballs and four caused turnovers. The primary faceoff specialist, Noyes won 137 faceoffs in 16 games as he came away with the ball 63.4 percent of the time.

The Hounds open the 2012 season on Wednesday, February 29th as the team hosts Clark University for a 4 p.m. start in the Worcester Cup.
