2005 N.E.I.L.A. New England Division II Coach-of-the-Year
THE GREYHOUNDS HEAD COACH and a former standout player for the University of Massachusetts varsity B team. He is also the former head coach at Nichols College and is the 12th head coach in the history of the sport at Assumption College---2005 N.E.I.L.A. Division II Coach-of-the-Year. He came to to the College from St. Johns High School (Shrewsbury, MA) where he was the assistant coach from 2003-2004 helping to oversee the Pioneers consecutive Central Massachusetts championships and one Division II state semifinal. PLAYING EXPERIENCE: a member of the men's lacrosse team from 1992-94, earning B-team lacrosse Rookie-of-the-Year honors in 1993 as well as a bronze medal at the Bay State Games men's collegiate open tournament in 1993. COACHING EXPERIENCE: 1994-95, assistant men's lacrosse coach at Massachusetts (JV team)... 1996, assistant boy's lacrosse coach at Williston-Northampton School (Easthampton, MA)... 1997, assistant boy's lacrosse coach at Suffield Academy (Suffield, CT)... 1998, director of instructional lacrosse at Eagle Hill School, Hardwick, MA... 2000-02, head coach, men's lacrosse at Nichols College (Dudley, MA)... 2003-04, assistant lacrosse coach at St. John's High School (Shrewsbury, MA)... 2005, head coach, Assumption College. EDUCATION: was graduated from the University of Massachusetts (Amherst) in 1994 (B.A. in History and minor in Political Science)... Springfield College in 1996 (M.Ed. in Secondary Education)... |
