Brady, Three Ice Dogs Honored in All-Conference Awards

Easton, Mass (February 24) -- Assumption College senior forward Taylor Larsen (Blackstone, Mass./Worcester Academy), senior defenseman Kevin Glanzman (Massapequa, N.Y./Massapequa), senior forward Pat O'Kane (Hollis, N.H./Bishop Guertin), and head coach Lance Brady have been honored by the Northeast-10 Conference for their accomplishments this season, as announced by the league and voted by the head coaches.

Larsen has been named the Northeast-10 Conference Player of the Year for the second consecutive year and is a member of the First Team for the third consecutive season. Larsen wrapped up the season with conference-high 32 points on 13 goals and 19 assists. Larsen was deadly on the power play this season with a conference leading 14 points when playing up a man. He scored five goals and assisted nine others when his team had a man advantage.

Glanzman has been named the Northeast-10 Defensive Player of the Year for the second consecutive season and is a member of the conference First Team for the second consecutive season, and was named to the Third Team in 2009-10. Glanzman finished the regular season with 19 points on two goals and 17 assists. His 17 assists lead the conference for all defenseman, while 19 points ranked second in the conference.

O'Kane has been named to the Northeast-10 All-Conference Second Team after leading the conference in goal scoring this past season with 14. He added eight assists for 22 points, to rank him tied for seventh in the conference.

Brady earned Northeast-10 Conference Coach of the Year honors for the second time in four years as head coach at Assumption, after he guided his team to a 13-10-1 record, including a 7-3-1 mark in conference play. The Ice Dogs finished second in the conference with seven points, and will host Stonehill College in a home playoff game on Saturday at 5:30 p.m.
