Bowden Honored by Northeast-10 Conference

Easton, Mass. (January 16) -- Sophomore goaltender Bobby Bowden (Springfield, Mass./Williston-Northampton) was honored at the top goaltender for week eight of the regular season. Bowden turned away 39-of-40 shots in a victory over Suffolk on Saturday, picking up his fourth victory of the season. This is the second time he has been honored with the award this season.

Bowden has had a phenomenal season for the Ice Dogs, ranking among the Conference leaders in many statistics. Bowden ranks first in save percentage (.928), second in winning percentage (.643), and third in goals against average (3.15).

The Ice Dogs return to the ice on Saturday, January 21st to take on Southern New Hampshire University. The game will begin at 5:35 p.m. at the Buffone Arena in Worcester, Mass.
