Golf in Sixth Place After Day One in Keene
Keene, N.H. (September 9) -- The Assumption College men's golf team is in sixth place after one day of competition at the Franklin Pierce University Fall Invitational on Sunday.
The Greyhounds shot a 312, 19 shots off the lead set by Southern New Hampshire University, which shot a 293, good for five over par.
Andrew Dame led the way for the Greyhounds with a 74, two strokes over par, tied for ninth among individual scorers. Devin Tarpey (Melrose, Mass./Malden Catholic) fired a 78, which was second among the Greyhounds in scoring.
The second and final round of action will start on Monday at the Bretwood Country Club in Keene, N.H.
