Hounds Finish 16th at St. James Plantation Invite

Southport, N.C. (March 18) -- The Assumption men's golf team finished up in 16th place at the St. James Plantation Invite over the weekend. The event, the first of the spring for the Hounds, took place at the 6,429-yard, par-72 Founders Club.

Senior captain Rick Giovino (Medford, Mass./Malden Catholic) was the top Assumption finisher, ending up in a tie for 27th with a two-day total of 154 (75-79). Freshman Adam Bourque and Peter Duckett (Harvard, Mass./Bromfield School) tied for 58th place with a two-day total of 161, while Andrew Dame placed 94th at 174 (90-84).

The Hounds are back in action on March 31st-April 1st as the team travels to the Peter King Memorial. That event will take place at Long Island National Golf Course, located in Riverhead, N.Y.
