WORCESTER, Mass. – Assumption College junior catcher Andrew Jaehnig (Quincy, Mass. / Boston College) has added two more accolades to his decorated career, as the Quincy, Massachusetts native collected All-East Region First-Team honors from the Conference Commissioner's Association (D2CCA), as well as the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA).
WORCESTER, Mass. – Two members of the Assumption College baseball team have earned NE10 All-Conference honors, as voted by the league's 15 head coaches. Senior Andrew Jaehnig (Quincy, Mass. / Boston College) was named to the First Team, while graduate transfer Quinn Moynihan (Worcester, Mass. / Lipscomb University) was named to the Third Team.
The Lead: Facing a must win game, freshman Cole Chudoba (Oxford, Conn. / Oxford) took the mound for Assumption and was working on a gem, as he pitched into the ninth inning without allowing a run, allowing the Hounds to take a 5-0 lead. Merrimack then stormed back and scored six runs in the bottom of the ninth to walk-off, winning 6-5.
The Lead: Senior Andrew Jaehnig (Quincy, Mass. / Boston College) became the 11th player in program history to record 200 hits in his career, when he tallied a base knock in the fourth inning of this afternoon’s NE10 Divisional contest, as the Assumption baseball team fell 11-6 to Franklin Pierce.
The Lead: The Assumption College baseball team dropped the opening game of its weekend series against Bentley, suffering a 15-0 defeat. The Hounds will look to bounce back tomorrow when the teams square off for a doubleheader starting at 12:00 p.m.
The Lead: Assumption's Head Baseball Coach Mike Rocco picked up his 100th victory this afternoon as the Hounds split today’s two games with Franklin Pierce, dropping game one 4-0 before beating the Ravens 8-7 in game two.
The Lead: Assumption trailed Stonehill 5-0 late in the game but the Hounds never quit, tying the game in the seventh inning before eventually winning the game in the 11th to improve to 5-1 in the division.

The Lead: The Assumption baseball team dropped game one of the doubleheader with Le Moyne before bouncing back and setting themselves up for a split in game two. Errors led to three unearned runs in the ninth inning to tie the game, before it was called due to darkness, finishing in a tie.

WORCESTER, Mass. – Senior Andrew Jaehnig (Quincy, Mass. / Boston College) of the Assumption baseball team collected NE10 Conference Player of the Week honors after leading the Hounds to a perfect 2-0 week.
The Lead: The Assumption baseball team was looking for the weekend sweep of Saint Anselm today, as the Hounds claimed game one 14-6 and grabbed an 11-6 lead in the ninth inning of game two before the game was called for darkness. The game will be finished at a later date and restarted where the two teams left off.
The Lead: Nearly every starter recorded a hit and sophomore Kyle Autilio (Saugus, Mass. / Saugus) earned the win in his second career start as the Assumption baseball team rebounded to defeat American International 9-4.
The Lead: Assumption dropped a pair of games today as the Hounds traveled to Queens, where the Knights piled up 16 runs in the two games. Senior Andrew Jaehnig (Quincy, Mass. / Boston College) had an outstanding series as the senior went a combined 5-for-8 with two home runs, four RBI and two runs.
The Lead: Rollins swept the two game series with Assumption, defeating the Hounds 4-2 today as the Tars racked up 11 hits with the majority of their damage coming from the 5-7 hitters in the order who finished 7-for-12.
