Keddy Named to ABCA All-Region Second Team

Worcester, Mass. (May 25) -- Junior shortstop Shane Keddy (Worcester, Mass./Worcester Tech) has been named to the 2012 ABCA All-Region Second Team, as announced on Friday afternoon.

In addition, Keddy was named to the Northeast-10 Conference First Team, 2012 Daktronics NCAA Division II Baseball All-East Region Second Team and the 2012 NCBWA All-East Region Second Team, following a season in which he led the Northeast-10 Conference with a .389 batting average. The captain had a 14 game hit streak that spanned from March 3 to April 1, then had a streak of 22 games in which he reached base spanning from April 5 to May 1.
