Stonehill stops women's soccer in NE-10 match

Stonehill 4, Assumption 0
    EASTON, MA --- Stonehill College defeated Assumption College, 4-0, in a Northeast-10 Conference women’s soccer here FRIDAY.
    Senior forward KIRSTIE ST. MARTIN (Providence, RI/Mt. St. Charles) had two goals and an assist, junior midfielder KELSEY MAHONEY (Rehoboth, MA/Dighton-Rehoboth) added a goal and an assist and senior midfielder MOLLY MATTERN (Preston, CT/Norwich Free) scored her first goal of the season for the Skyhawks.
    Freshman goalkeeper AMY WHEATON (Dartmouth, MA/Dartmouth) made six saves and posted a shutout in her second career start.
    Stonehill is now 7-4-1 overall and 6-3-1 in the conference and plays at American International College SUNDAY. Assumption is now 2-8-1 overall and 2-7 in the conference and hosts Saint Michael’s College SUNDAY at 3 p.m.
