Meredith, O'Kane named NE-10 Players of the Week
EASTON, Mass. --- Junior forward KELLY
MEREDITH (Franklin, MA/Franklin) has been named the
Northeast-10 Conference co-Player-of-the Week for women’s
basketball, while junior right wing PAT
O’KANE (Hollis, NH/Bishop
Guertin/Williston-Northampton) (PICTURED RIGHT) earned
similar honors for men’s ice hockey.

TIM BEINERT (Bellerose, NY/Holy Cross) earned
weekly honor roll status for his performance last week.
Meredith averaged 20.5 points and 5.0 rebounds,
2.0 assists and 1.5 steals leading the Greyhounds to a 2-0 record
last week and into a first-place tie in the conference
standings. Her floor accuracy was .667 (16-for-24).
Meredith leads the conference in scoring (20.6) and floor accuracy
(.600).
She scored 26 points in a 77-72 win over the
University of New Haven coming off-the-heels of a season- and
career-high 34 points in an 89-71 win over Dominican, NY in the
Stonehill College Mixer. The 60-points is the second-highest
total in team history for a back-to-back game total. She then
scored 15 points in a 67-41 win over conference rival Adelphi.
O’Kane had two goals and an assist in a
1-1 week for the Ice Dogs. He scored two of his team’s
three goals in a tough 5-3 defeat at Saint Michael’s.
He is the second-leading scorer in the Northeast-10 Conference with
6-5--11 points.
Beinert averaged 15.0 points and shot .700
(14-for-20) from the floor as the Greyhounds defeated New Haven
(75-71) and lost at Adelphi (74-76). He had 14 points, 10
rebounds and shot six-for-seven from the floor against New Haven
and followed with a second double-double, 16 points, 11 rebounds
and shot eight-for-13 from the floor at Adelphi.
