UMass Lowell stops Greyhound volleyball

WORCESTER, Mass. --- Senior outside hitter
JILLIAN HADDER (Yucaipa, CA/Yucaipa) had 15 kills
and a .393 hitting percentage to lead the University of
Massachusetts Lowell past Assumption College, 3-0, in Northeast-10
Conference women’s volleyball action FRIDAY night in the
Laska Gym.
Game scores: UMass Lowell, 25-22, 25-13
and 25-22.
Playing well in support roles for the River
Hawks were sophomore setter KRISTINA WILTZER (San
Diego, CA/Chapparal) (28 set assists) and freshman defensive
specialist CAROLYN EDDY (Dracut, MA/Central
Catholic) (17 digs).
Senior outside hitter AIMEE
DRAINVILLE (Rockville, RI/Chariho) led the Greyhounds with
five kills, while freshman setter KRISTIN
FLATEKVAL (Mahwah, NJ/Immaculate Heart) had 18 set assists
and 10 digs.
The Greyhounds are now 9-23 overall and 0-14 in
the conference, while UMass Lowell is 15-10 and 8-5.
Assumption completes its season SATURDAY at
conference rival Merrimack College at 5 p.m.
