DeWalt named to women's soccer New England Sr. Bowl

    WORCESTER, Mass. --- Assumption College senior midfielder KELLEY DE WALT (Londonderry, NH/Londonderry) has been selected to play in the New England Women’s Intercollegiate Soccer Association Senior Bowl.
    DeWalt, previously named a Northeast-10 Conference first-team all-star, is the lone Greyhound representative in the game scheduled tentatively for Sunday, December 6 at 12 noon. The location of the game is also still in the discussion stage.
    The Greyhounds finished 7-9-1 overall and 7-7-1 in the conference narrowly missing the postseason playoffs on the final day of the regular season under first-year coach GLENN MELIA.
    DeWalt was the Greyhound leading scorer with 4-0--8 points with three game-winning goals. She was named to the conference third-team in 2007 and first-team in 2008.
