Franklin Pierce stops Greyhound volleyball in Northeast-10 Conference action

RINDGE, NH --- Senior outside hitter KATIE RISTOW (Miami, FL/Miami Killian) had a match-high 12 kills and senior middle blocker MEGAN FELDMETH (South Pasadena, CA/South Pasadena) added 10 kills as Franklin Pierce University defeated Assumption College, 3-0, in Northeast-10 Conference women's volleyball action here FRIDAY night.
The Ravens, now 6-15 overall and 3-5 in the conference won by game scores of 25-10, 25-22 and 25-14. Assumption is now 1-14 overall and 0-8 in conference play.
Junior middle hitter AIMEE DRAINVILLE (Rockville, RI/Chariho) and senior outside hitter JESSICA HALLER (Meriden, CT/Maloney) led the Greyhounds with six kills each, while senior setter KELLY BLUMENAUER (Islip Terrace, NY/East Islip) had 13 set assists, two service aces and five digs. Freshman libero STEPH WHOOTEN (Norton, MA/Bishop Feehan) had 16 digs.
Junior setter PAMELA WALKER (Chino Hills, CA/Chino Hills) had 29 set assists for the Ravens, while junior libero CHELSEA KOHOUT (Harrison Township, MI/L'Anse Creuse) (18 digs) and senior middle blocker CAITLYNN PARNELL (Medina, TX/Medina) (14 digs) played well in support roles.
The Greyhounds are next in action SATURDAY at 6 p.m. when they host Southern New Hampshire University in another Northeast-10 Conference match.
