Greyhounds men's soccer plays to scoreless tie with Northeast-10 Conference rival Saint Rose

WORCESTER, Mass. --- Hounds junior goalkeeper BRANDAN SULLIVAN (Halesite, NY/St. Dominic?€™s) made four saves as Assumption College played to a 0-0 double-overtime tie with the College of Saint Rose in Northeast-10 Conference action TUESDAY night at the Multi Sport Stadium. It was Sullivan?€™s fifth shutout of the season.
Sophomore keeper PATRIK OHLSSON (Sodertalje, Sweden/Igelstavikens) made seven saves for the Golden Knights in the defensive struggle for his second shutout.
Assumption outshot the Golden Knights, 19-7, however Saint Rose held a slight 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
Assumption is now 7-4-1 overall overall and 4-3-1 in the conference, while Saint Rose is 2-9-1 and 1-6-1.
The Greyhounds are next in action SATURDAY when they travel to American International College for another Northeast-10 Conference game. Saint Rose is at Franklin Pierce SATURDAY at 7 p.m.
