Le Moyne stops Greyhounds men's soccer, 1-0, in Northeast-10 Conference action

SYRACUSE, NY --- Sophomore midfielder MARCUS DEBOTTIS (Cicero, NY/Cicero-North Syracuse) scored his second goal of the season in the second half as Le Moyne College defeated Assumption College, 1-0, in Northeast-10 Conference mens soccer action here WEDNESDAY.

Sophomore midfielder JESSE CARR (Skaneateles, NY/Skaneateles) made a nice cross pass from the right side to Debottis who fired a low shot past Hounds junior goalkeeper BRANDAN SULLIVAN (Halesite, NY/Saint Dominic) at 52:12.

Dolphins senior goalkeeper STEVE WHITE (Cortland, NY/Cortland) made three saves to post the shutout, while Sullivan made eight stops for the Greyhounds.

The Dolphins outshot the Greyhounds, 18-13.

Assumption is next in action SATURDAY when they host Southern New Hampshire for another conference match at 1 p.m.
