The Golden Knights thanks to a torrid first-half from the three-point line cruised to a six-point advantage. Senior guard JERMAINE CLARK (Perth Amboy, NJ/Perth Amboy) stroked five first-half three-pointers as the team made nine-of-13 attempts. The second half would be a different story as tighter defense and colder shooting touches prevailed with a one-for 12 performance.

The Hounds cut the Golden Knights lead to 42-41 with 1:02 remaining in the first half as Baldarelli tipped home his first hoop of the game. Clark then hit a three-pointer and sophomore forward SHELDON GRIFFIN (Lititz, PA/Warwick) hit a baseline jumper to make it a six-point deficit at the half.
With the score 52-46 Saint Rose following a pair of free throws by sophomore forward BRIAN HANUSCHAK (Cumberland, RI/Saint Andrews), the Greyhounds came to life.
Bluford converted a steal into a lane jumper and six seconds later made both ends of a two-shot free throw opportunity following a Rozsnaki steal. A three-pointer by Baldarelli put the Greyhounds in front, 53-52. Another three-pointer by Harris improved the advantage to seven points at 61-54 with 12:56 remaining.
Clark hit a pair of free throws for the Knights to makde it 61-56 and then the Greyhounds went on a 10-0 spurt to put the game away.
Baldarelli made a free throw, Beinert a tip-in, Baldarelli a layup off a Beinert steal and assist, sophomore guard KEVIN DONAHUE (Pawcatuck, CT/Stonington) converted inside from Bluford and Beinert finished it with a long three-pointer from the top-of-the-circle to make 71-56 with 9:28 left.
