COLCHESTER, Vt. --- Junior goalkeeper MEGHAN MC LAUGHLIN (Cape Elizabeth, ME/Cape Elizabeth) made three saves to lead Saint Michael's College past Assumption College, 3-0, in a non-conference women's field hockey game here SATURDAY.

The Purple Knights opened the scoring in the first half as sophomore midfielder TAYLOR WAHRENBROCK (Chapel Hill, NC/Chapel Hill) scored her second goal of the season with assists credited to senior captain/midfielder KAITLIN KOFFINK (Goffstown, NH/Goffstown Area) and juniro midfielder KALEIGH FERRARI (Millbrook, NY/Millbrook School) at 17:03.

Saint Michael's scored two unassisted insurance goals in the second half as senior forward DESIREE BIRON (Bow, NH/Gunnery School) (39:20) and junior forward NATALIE ELVIDGE (Newton, NJ/Newton) (60:05) scored their first goals of the season.

Saint Michael's, now 2-2 overall, held a 10-5 advantage in shots on goals.

Greyhounds junior goalkeeper DANIELLE LUONGO (Northboro, MA/Algonquin) made four saves in net.

The Greyhounds, now 1-2 overall, are next in action TUESDAY when they host Stonehill College in the Multi-Sport Stadium at 7 p.m.
