Holy Cross defeats Greyhounds, 8-1, in women's tennis fall season finale

WORCESTER, Mass. --- Holy Cross College defeated Assumption College, 8-1, in the fall season finale for both team SATURDAY at the Holy Cross courts.

Greyhounds freshman MELISSA FERRY (Cumberland, RI/Mount Saint Charles) remained undefeated winning 6-2, 6-4 over Holy Cross' EMMA RUDNIK (Lake Bluff, IL/Woodlands) at No. 2 singles. She finished the fall season at 4-0 in singles.

Assumption is now 2-2 overall and Holy Cross is 3-2. Both teams will continue their seasons in the spring.
