WORCESTER, Mass. --- Freshman attack WILL LANGEVIN (Concord, MA/Concord-Carlisle), senior attack KEVIN JURGENS (Needham, MA/Needham) and sophomore attack NICHOLAS VIOLANDI (Duxbury, MA/Duxbury) each scored three goals as Assumption College defeated Briarcliffe, NY, College, 16-3, in non conference men's lacrosse at the Multi-Sport Stadium.
Junior attack KEVIN KLASKIN (Norfolk, MA/Xaverian) had two more goals to move into third place on the Greyhounds' career list with 44-52--96 points. Jurgens now has 56 goals, 21 assists for 77 points.

Sophomore attack JOE SPERDUTO (Centereach, NY/Centereach), freshman goalkeeper KEVIN COLLICA (Freeport, NY/Freeport) and freshman midfielder JEFF ORBAN (Manorville, NY/Eastport Manor) all scored for Briarcliffe.
Also scoring for the Greyhounds was sophomore attack JOHN MURPHY (Walpole, MA/Walpole), freshman midfielder THOMAS GUIDO (Manorville, NY/Eastport South Manor), freshman midfielder JOHN RYAN (Greenville, RI/LaSalle), sophomore midfielder ANDREW HAGGETT (Glastonbury, CT/Glastonbury) and freshman midfielder CHRIS NOYES (Tewksbury, MA/Central Catholic). Langevin added three assists for a six point game.
Briarcliffe's Collica (57:21) and freshman KYLE MACOMBER (Manorville, NY/Eastport Manor) (2:39) combined for 12 saves, while junior DAN SHEA (Wrentham, MA/Wrentham) (47:32) made eight saves and sophomore SCOTT VOGEL (Powell, OH/Olentangy-Liberty) (12:28) made two saves for the Greyhounds.
Asumption outshot the Seahawks, 45-21, and a 30-16 edge in ground balls. Noyes, who had a career-best 14 ground balls Saturday against American International College, led the Greyhounds with nine.
The Greyhounds, now 5-5 overall, are next in action WEDNESDAY when they host Northeast-10 Conference rival Pace University at 4 p.m.
