WORCESTER, Mass. --- Postgraduate forward GREG TWOMEY (Groton, MA/Groton-Dunstable), sophomore center SAVOY FRAINE (Grenada Hills, CA/Grenada Hills), and senior guard/captain MITCH BAJEMA (Whitinsville, MA/Whitinsville Christian) combined to score 65 points on 26-for-36 shooting to lead Assumption College past previously undefeated Saint Anselm College, 103-84, in Northeast-10 Conference men's basketball SATURDAY at the Laska Gym.

It is the first 100-point effort by the Greyhounds since they defeated New Haven, 105-96, January 14, 2002.

Twomey finished with 26 points on 11-for-13 shooting from the floor including three-of-three from three-point territory with a team-high eight rebounds and five assists; Fraine added 21 points on eight-for-16 shooting, seven rebounds, three blocks and one thunderous dunk in front of the Hound Pound student section. Bajema was perfect, seven-for-seven including four three-pointers for 18 points and two assists.

Senior guard/captain PATRICK SHEA (Salem, MA/Salem) added 11 points, a team-high nine assists and four rebounds, while sophomore forward TOBIN HAASE (Ridgefield, NJ/Ridgefield) had a career-best 101 points off-the-bench in a sterling 11-minute effort.

After the Hawks' freshman forward JACK KEOUGH (Owego, NY/Owego Free Academy)) made a pair of free throws with 6:35 left in the first half Assumption led 30-29. They then went on a 27-9 run to end the half.

Twomey started the uprising with a wing jumper and followed with a top-of the-circle three-pointer. Shea then hit a wing jumper, Bajema a layin off a move to the basket before Shea hit a corner three-pointer and a 42-29 lead.

The Hawks' sophomore guard THOMAS BAUDINET (Watertown, CT/Taft) stopped the rally with a layin, but Hounds' sophomore forward MIKE BALDARELLI (Sutton, MA/Holy Name) followed with another corner three pointer to make it 45-31.

Keough made a pair of free throws before Twomey (layin) and Shea (wing jumper) and Twomey again (three-pointer) made it a 17-point game (52-35) witth 1:38 left. The Hawks' sophomore guard PAT LUPTOWSKI (Keene, NH/Keene) hit a three-pointer before Haase connected on his first career three pointer and Shea finished with a pair of free throws for the 19-point (57-38) halftime bulge. The Greyhounds had scored 19 points off 12 Hawk turnovers in the first half.

The ran the first nine points of the second half to seal it. Fraine made a layin on a drive to the basket and then electrified the crowd with a dunk on a feed from Bajema, Bajema then hit a short lane jumper and long wing three-pointer for a 66 38 advantage.

Senior guard/forward MAREK KULIG (Brick, NJ/Msgr. Donovan) made a nice move inside for the 100th and 101st points.

The Greyhounds are next in action Tuesday as they travel to Northeast-10 Conference rival Saint Michael's College for a 7:30 p.m. tapoff.
