Rob Younker finishes EIGHTH, Greyhounds are FOURTH overall at Northeast-10 Conference golf championship

SOUTH HADLEY, Mass. --- Senior captain ROB YOUNKER (Waltham, MA/Waltham) shot a 73-78--151 to finish eighth overall leading Assumption College to a fourth-place finish in the Northeast-10 Conference men's golf championship held here at The Orchards Golf Course.
Younker earned second-team all-conference honors for his efforts.
Le Moyne College won the team championship (293-306--599) followed by Massachusetts Lowell (294-317--611) and Saint Anselm (302 310--612).
Other Assumption College scores: senior captain JAMIE FARREA (Portsmouth, RI/Portsmouth) (75-79--154), sophomore STEVE WOLAK (North Grosvendordale, CT/Tourtellotte) (74-82--156), freshman RICH GIOVINO (Medford, MA/Malden Catholic) (82-76--158) and sophomore RICK BYLUND (Auburn, MA/Auburn) (78-81--159).
The Greyhounds are next in action October 5-6 at the Post University Eagle Shoot Out at the Wintonbury Hill Golf Course in Bloomfield, CT.
