Lauren Raswyck sets Greyhounds mark for digs as women's volleyball outlasts NE-10 rival St. Anselm, 3-2

WORCESTER, Mass. --- Senior libero LAUREN RASWYCK (Litchfield, NH/Campbell) was the show as Assumption College defeated Saint Anselm College, 3-2, in a Northeast-10 Conference volleyball match TUESDAY night at the Laska Gym.

The Greyhounds prevailed 18-30, 30-26, 24-30, 20-17 and 15-8.

Raswyck set the team record with 53 digs as the Greyhounds opened their Northeast-10 Conference schedule with a win and improved their overall record to 3-1 under first-year head coach GARY PATCH. Raswyck had eight digs alone in the decisive fifth game and added a team-high four service aces.

Offensively the Greyhounds were led by the trio of freshman middle blocker AIMEE DRAINVILLE (Rockville, RI/Chariho) (9 kills), sophomore opposite SARAH SULLIVAN (Bourne, MA/Bourne) (8 kills) and freshman setter MARILISA STRAND (Sarasota, FL/Cardinal Mooney) (7 kills).

The Greyhounds are next in action in the Worcester City Championship Saturday hosted by WPI.
