Hounds' Chris Bird named pre-season all-America

Junior goalkeeper CHRIS BIRD (North Andover, MA/St. John's Prep) has been named to the second-team of the insidelacrosse.com preseason all-America selections recently released.

Bird posted a .625 save percentage last season in 14 games (839 minutes) with 225 saves. He posted his first career shutout vs. Green Mountain College. He was named to the Northeast-10 Conference second all-star team.

He was also named one of three tri-captains for the 2007 season by head coach MARK KELLEY.
