THE LASKA GYMNASIUM

RENOVATION CONTINUES


It's the old gym . . . the seats are filled, the packed house is enjoying the Greyhounds winning another game, and . . .


It's now April and the seats are gone, and next the floor will go away, and . . ."


Now it's May, the floor is gone, and painting has started from the top down, and . . .


Early June . . . the Greyhounds main basket is now up and ready for action and it's starting to look like a gymnasium . . .


Mid June . . . yes that is stacks of lumber for the new floor in the far end. The workers have already started the process . . . you can see a few rows of floor already in place at midcourt . . .


A week later . . . floor starts to take shape . . .


And, the lobby is also getting a makeover . . .


First layer of the new floor starts to take shape . . . it's early July!


First half of the new floor is now in place . . . it's mid July!


A week later and we're almost finished with the floor!

We're getting close . . . first few layers of floor are done, check out the Hound Pound!


And, closer . . . the A is on the floor and ready for lacquer. Almost ready! Practice for volleyball later this week!
