JENNIFER M. (CONLEY) DAVIS '86

Basketball


One of the most consistent women's basketball players in the history of the College, JEN CONLEY is among leading career scorers with 949 points, a former captain (1985-86) and two-time awards winner.

She was awarded the William Cating Memorial Award presented annually to the student-athlete deemed 'most coachable' in 1985 and won the prestigious Rev. Armand Desautels, A.A. Memorial Award presented to the premier female senior student-athlete (1986).

Statistically, she was 'Miss Consistency,' averaging 7.1, 11.3, 10.7 and 10.1 as one of the more versatile and athletic players of her era. She is among the top playmakers with 259 assists and also had 603 rebounds (335 on the offensive glass), while shooting a respectable .409 from the floor.

Perhaps her top performance came in 1983-84, as a sophomore, she led the Hounds to a 67-65 overtime win over Merrimack College with 19 points and a career-best 25 rebounds . . . the fourth best rebound total in Lady Hounds' history.


She also played two years of softball finishing her career with a .318 average and ran cross country for a year.

Originally from Lincoln Academy in Damariscotta, Maine, she finished with a 3.40 grade point average as an accounting major and was ranked 39th in a class of 359. She is presently a Certified Public Accountant and is married to Matthew Davis residing in Coral Springs, FL with a son Coleman.
